I am thrilled to share with you what is coming in August at the Parliament of World’s Religions (PoWR). My dear friend and colleague, Sande Hart, and The Women’s Task Force is elevating the presence of Women and the Divine Feminine, a bold next step in the upward trajectory that has been mounting since the Inaugural Women’s Assembly and first women’s programming track in 2015. With 61% of the 7-10,000 attendees being women it’s time!

This year’s theme is Women’s Dignity. Here’s more about the Women’s Village…

Carefully designed to support the way women create and converge, women are invited to enter the Village and be activated and inspired to deepen their commitment to protect and preserve human rights and dignity for women, for all.

Women’s Sacred Space is a welcoming, safe, and inclusive sanctuary for women of all faiths to pray, meditate, reflect, recline, conduct ceremony, spiritual practice and ritual, to move as women move, and to bless one another. Women are invited to contribute items of their faith tradition, nature, and water to any of the altars in the space.

Sande is the founder and president of the The Spiritual and Religious Alliance for Hope (SARAH), a Partner of this initiative, and they are inviting Sponsorships to help build the Village as this is not coming out of the Parliament’s budget. It’s up to us to build this Village together with our Sister/Brothers/Family organizations.

The PoWR is the largest interfaith experiential gathering that revolves around the world every few years. Please consider donating to support this powerful initiative focused on women.

And join me live at the event in Chicago for 400+ workshops and panels, plenaries, expressions of faith traditions, indigenous shared knowledge, ceremony, ritual, connections and more packed into this powerful week of 8/13-8/18/2023.

Be bold. Be Daring. Be AWE-dacious!

P.S. If you’d like to join me in volunteering in the Women’s Village just reply to this email and I’ll connect you with Sande Hart.
